How To Maintain Your Robot Well

Although your pool surface cleaning robot is equipped with advanced technology, it is not as indestructible as the Monkey King with a copper head and iron bones. To maintain your pool surface cleaning robot well and ensure its long-term and efficient operation, you can follow the following maintenance suggestions:

1. Clean the collection basket regularly
You need to clean the collection basket every 2 to 3 days to keep the machine running efficiently. When cleaning the collection basket, use the "Automatic Docking" function of the remote control to make the machine approach the shore for easy removal. After taking out the collection basket, pour out the debris and rinse it thoroughly with a hose to ensure it is completely clean. When cleaning, you can also clean the plastic panel and the solar panel by the way to prevent any residues from affecting the performance.

2. Keep the machine dry
During the cleaning and storage process, make sure the machine is completely dry to prevent water from entering the internal components. In winter or when the machine is not in use for a long time, take the machine out of the pool, rinse it thoroughly and let it dry completely, and store it in a dry and well-ventilated place.

3. Check the propeller and impeller regularly
Check whether there is dirt, ropes or hair winding around the propeller and impeller to ensure they can rotate freely. If any foreign objects are found to be wound around, clean them up in a timely manner to avoid affecting the operation of the machine.

4. Keep the solar panel clean
Regularly check the solar panel to ensure that there are no residues (such as chemicals or minerals in the pool water) affecting the charging efficiency. Use a soft cloth and a hose to clean the solar panel. Avoid using a pressure washer or scraping tools to prevent damaging the panel.

5. Charge correctly
If using solar charging, make sure the machine is placed in a location with sufficient sunlight and adjust its position as the sun moves. If using a power adapter for charging, make sure the machine is turned off during charging. Unplug the adapter in a timely manner after charging is completed and put on the waterproof cover. Avoid charging for an extended period of time and use the original adapter for charging.

6. Avoid extreme environments
Avoid exposing the machine to high-temperature or high-pressure environments to prevent damage to the equipment. In autumn and winter, due to the weaker sunlight, the running time of the machine may be shortened. It is recommended to use a power adapter for charging.

7. Check the machine status regularly
Regularly check the LED status indicator of the machine to understand its running status. If an abnormal status is found (such as the orange indicator flashing rapidly), troubleshoot the problem in a timely manner and deal with it.

8. Winter storage
In winter or when the machine is not in use for a long time, take the machine out of the pool, rinse it thoroughly and let it dry completely, and store it in a dry and well-ventilated place. Before using it in the next season, check whether all components of the machine show signs of damage, and make sure everything is normal before charging and using it.

9. Troubleshooting
If the machine does not run, check whether the power is sufficient and try using solar charging or a power adapter for charging. If the machine is stuck or the propeller/impeller is not working properly, check whether there are foreign objects wound around, and make sure the collection basket and the cover lock are properly fixed.

10. Contact customer service
If you encounter problems that cannot be solved, contact customer service in a timely manner to obtain professional help.

By following these maintenance suggestions, you can ensure that your pool surface cleaning robot remains highly efficient in operation for a long time and extend its service life.
